Images of winter usually focus on pure snow covered fields and icicles glistening in the sun. Winter around here, more often than not, is cold, gray and dreary.

Shades of brown and gray wash the vibrance from the woods. We’ve tucked the holiday decorations away for another year. We could use a touch of green about now.
